This course aims to enable the learner to:
• Develop key skills in using computers and communications skills
• Use iPad Apps
• Access email and Internet
• Discuss and learn about the use of Computers and computer language in everyday life
• Use technology to access online learning programmes and applications
• Discuss/use different types of technology i.e. computer, IPad, Tablet etc.

LEARNING OUTCOMES
(VT1) Identify areas of everyday life where he/she interacts with
technology, e.g. for learning, working, personal and home
management, and for fun
(VT2) Consider some benefits and risks of using technology
(VT3) Use technology requiring not more than three functions, for
personal, home and educational/workplace use; e.g. , assistive
technologies, electronic information retrieval / communications
devices, mobile phone, photocopier, computer, cameras, personal
technologies-DVD/video player, household appliances
