Is this course for me?
This programme will serve to upskill professionals in the construction industry in the areas of financial and building energy management.

The Building Energy Management module aims to provide the learner with the knowledge and skills required to assess and improve the efficiency of resource use in an organisation. Depending on the learner’s background, it aims to consolidate and advance the skills and knowledge already attained from working in the energy/ construction industry.

The Financial Information for Decision Making in Construction module is designed to enable learners to develop a significant understanding and make constructive contributions to the effective management of the financial activities of a business enterprise within the construction industry. In doing so, learners will develop a sound working knowledge of the various concepts, principles and techniques from the disciplines of management and business finance as they apply to the construction industry.

The course’s combination of modules will enable learners to apply financial analysis to engineering applications.
