Biopharmaceutical Operations - Extended Campus
This programme is designed
specifically to address a growing need
in the biopharmaceutical industry
and will enable the person and
professional development, through
higher education, of those learners
who have not previously had the
opportunity to take such a programme
of study or who wish to make a
change of direction and will provide
a minimum competency course for
biopharmaceutical operatives. The
certificate has been developed with
MSD Carlow but can also be offered to
other biopharmaceutical companies.

Duration
Classes are delivered using a hybrid approach involving a combination of pre-course reading, pre-recorded classes, live and onsite classes.
Entry Requirements
This is an employee based programme with a work based learning component that must be completed. Applicants must be employed in the Pharmaceutical (or equivalent/similar) industry to be able to complete the work based component of the module.

Extended Campus
Extended Campus (EC) at SETU Carlow works with organisations in the design, development and validation of customised programmes relevant to industry and employer needs. Programmes are often designed to bridge a gap that currently exists and or to support the future needs of an organisation and are offered through flexibly delivered timetables that fits into work life and avoiding long commutes to and from the classroom.
