Course Description:
This follow-on course from the excel for beginners, starting week 6 of term.
Course Content:
This follow-on course covers If Functions and Nested If Functions. Learn how to use And, Or and Not Functions, Sumif and Countif for selective adding and counting, work with time and dates, text functions, performing look ups, using large data sets to create pivot tables, using the slicer tool and pivot charts and creating dashboards to see key trends. This course provides you with solid knowledge in the most important tools in Excel. Once you have finished the course you will know more than most people who are using Excel each day. You’ll have a powerful skill set that you can use in building spreadsheets that make you even more efficient in your role. Use Dashboards to impress your Boss and Colleagues.
The tutor, Pauline Berkery, has over 10 years teaching experience in various settings, and has been teaching with the College for 5 years. She has a strong background in delivering the Microsoft packages, with a particular focus on Excel. She is MOS Certified and holds an Honours Degree in Business from DCU. Prior to teaching, Pauline spent a considerable amount of time in the Business World and can assist you in applying the skills you will learn in her course to everyday business and home life.
