Course Description:
Heartsaver C.P.R. / A.E.D.
Course Content:
Learn to save lives with this interactive hands-on course. Taught by a Clinical Nurse Specialist, learn the lifesaving techniques of C.P.R. and how to use an A.E.D. (Automatic External Defibrillator).At the end of this course, the participants will be able to perform the life-saving techniques of Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation and use an Automated External Defibrillator.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive an Irish Heart Foundation Certificate which is valid for two years. (There is an additional supplement of €20, payable to the tutor, to cover the cost of equipment, certificate & exam fees).
This course will be delivered by a highly trained Nurse Practitioner and former Emergency Medical Technician. Paulo is a certified CPR instructor by the Irish Heart Foundation and the American Heart Association. “I’ve recently attended the CPR course with Paulo and can’t recommend it highly enough. Paulo is a skilled teacher, and you will have no fear of doing CPR on completion of this 3 hour course. This is a skill that literally saves lives, and one we should all know how to do.
