Cancelled Classes
Refunds or fees are made only where classes are cancelled due to insufficient enrolment numbers. A refund of your tuition fees will be prepared and forwarded to you at your postal address.

This course provides the student with the tools to understand sentences and frequently-used expressions. For instance, very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment. The course helps students communicate in simple and routine tasks that require a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters. Students will be able to describe, in simple terms, aspects of his/her background, environment and matters of personal needs and interests.

Learning Outcomes
At the end of this course, you will be able to:
Use new skills in in one or more areas of:
• Reading
• Writing
• Spelling and handwriting
• Maths
• Computers and other technology

You’ll also be able to:
• Decide what you need to work on in the next course or class you go on to.

• Judge what kind of teaching helps you the most. This might help you decide what you want to do next.

• Work in a group with other adults who are there for the same reasons as you.

• Put into practice what you have learned so that you can be more confident in everyday new situations.
