€245. Examination fee of €20 is payable for non medical card holders for certification of the course. If you have a valid medical card you will be exempt from the examination fee but a copy of this must be emailed on application to nightclasses@mayocollege.ie
This award will provide the learner with the skills and competence to provide reflexology treatments for the purposes of relaxation and stress relief, encouraging general health and wellbeing while under appropriate supervision. Learners will develop the skills required to carry out a reflexology treatment using appropriate client care, aftercare and homecare advice. It will address the importance of professionalism and health and safety when practicing reflexology, as well as the importance of contraindications, referral procedures, conditions related to the feet and the varied benefits to the client depending on their situation.
