Entry Requirements
Minimum Entry Requirements
Leaving Certificate: O6/H7 in 5 subjects including an O6/H7 in English or Leaving Certificate Applied or QQI Level 4 or equivalent. Practical relevant experience in Theatre Performance will be considered. Mature applicants who have relevant experience and may not meet the above entry requirements are welcome to apply.
Interview and Audition
Admittance to this course is by means of interview and audition.
Careers / Further progression
Progression
As a graduate of this course you will be able to progress to the Theatre Studies: Advanced Performance QQI Level 6 course in Inchicore College and other related FET courses.
QQI 6M5163 Theatre Performance is a major award which leads to CAO courses through the Higher Education Links Scheme including:

• MTU Cork, Cork School of Music- Musical Theatre
• Trinity College, Drama & Theatre Studies

Develop your passion for musical theatre and move with confidence onto the next level of your career in performance, producing, directing, and marketing musical theatre.
Academic modules will ensure you are fully prepared for the next level. You’ll be supported in choosing a direction of study in musical theatre, drama, teaching (on completion of relevant undergraduate training), community arts and administration in the arts.
