- Students applying for this course should have passed the Leaving Certificate in five subjects including English.
- Mature Applicants welcome.
- All applicants whose first language is not English will be tested at entry.
- In the case of remote/blended learning use of a laptop and WiFi connection is desirable.

The Legal Studies and Criminology course will be of interest to those who would like to focus on the study of criminal law and criminology and progress to study criminology at degree level in university. Criminology includes the study of causes of crime, deviance, combatting crime, the prison service, An Garda Siochana, the Probation Service and theories of criminology. The course also covers the study of business law and legal practice. The course also allows students to progress to the traditional law degree routes at university as well.

Work Experience
