Basic Skills by Phone or Online
This is a personalised one-to-one programme for adults in reading, writing, maths and computer skills. You can learn from home either over the phone or online. You will decide, with your tutor, what you want to learn and what skills you want to brush up on. This programme is entirely free and confidential.

Further information
We will provide you with one-to-one tuition with a trained NALA tutor. Sessions are normally about 30 minutes once a week.
You can sign up for just one session or more depending on your needs.
You can take this programme along with other courses if you wish.
What qualification you can receive:
This is an unaccredited programme. Programme content is aligned Quality and Qualifications Ireland's (QQI) Level 1 to 3, but is not accredited by QQI.
Entry requirements:
• Education: No formal education or qualifications are required.
• Aptitude: You must be motivated to learn and be able to work independently.
• Previous Experience: None needed.
• You must be aged over 18 and based in Ireland.
