Couch to 5K
Course Description:
Description: Couch to 5K is a universally recognised running program for beginner runners. The aim of this course is to help people to improve their fitness levels in a friendly and supportive environment made up of people of equal or close levels of fitness. The course will begin with a mix of both walking and running but each week the length of time running will be increased so that by the final week you will be able to run 5km. Couch to 5k will give you the opportunity to train at your own pace whilst being kept motivated and being supported each and every week.

Course Content:
Each week the session will be made up of: - A dynamic warmup and stretch. - Training session. - Cooldown. All of this will take place under the support and guidance of your trainer. Materials needed: - Supportive runners. - Fitness watch/ stopwatch. Course may be subject to change.
