Our Study & Work programmes are perfect for students outside of Europe who are seeking to study English and work in Ireland on a long-term basis. Both our Morning 20-hour programme and Afternoon 15-hour programme allow students to remain in Ireland for 8 months in total; 25 weeks for study and 8 weeks to use as holidays. All students on our Study & Work programmes also have permission to work part-time – 20 hours per week, during their studies. Study English and work in Ireland with CEC and live a unique experience.

A students CEC Experience begins before they travel to Cork with our online English level test. This short test confirms a student’s current level and helps us to place them in the best class for their success.

Every week will include:
• Grammar and vocabulary points based on your needs and goals
• A focus on speaking, classes designed to maximise your speaking time
• Extended fluency activities including discussions, role-plays, and presentations
• Engaging listening and reading activities from a range of sources
• A focus on social and intercultural English
• Dedicated homework to support your grammar and vocabulary learning
• Daily detailed error correction from your teacher for continuous improvement
• End of week feedback to give you general guidance, direction and confidence on your English language learning journey
