Holistic & Complementary Therapy
This course is for students wishing to specialise in the area of Holistic and Complementary Therapies. This course is open to those with experience in the Beauty Industry, who may be working and wish to have the opportunity to upskill and add to their suite of qualifications.

Entry Requirements
Leaving Cert Standard or Equivalent.
School leavers may benefit from completing first year Beauty Therapy (ITEC Beauty Specialist Diploma first.
Careers / Further progression
Educational Progression
Students who are under 23 and interested in progression routes should complete Beauty Therapy Year 1, so that they achieve full QQI Level 5 award, as well as their ITEC Award. Mature entry route is available to a variety of Level 8 degrees.
Employment
On completion of this course the majority of students progress to employment or self-employment in a variety of settings including spas, salons and hotels.

Registration Fee - €50 Registration fee is non refundable, and secures course place.
Course charges - €150 (Includes QQI exam Fee)
ITEC Diploma Costs - Approximately €150 per Diploma
Nail Technology Kit - €350
VTOS Places are available on this course.
Course charges - under review for reduction.
Many additional exemptions from fees for medical card holders, those in Receipt of the SUSI grant, Back to Education Allowance or VTOS.
Students may apply for a grant through www.susi.ie
Some students are eligible for places on VTOS courses or through the DSP through back to education allowance.
