The course prepares students to work with the latest technologies associated with modern manufacturing practice placing particular emphasis on the use of computer systems to assist in product design, production planning, and operation control. It also enables them to perform the various business related functions required in a manufacturing firm together with their incorporation into an integrated computer system.
