For writers who are new to Creative Writing or for those who have dabbled and attended courses in the past, the emerging series will allow you to perfect your skills and develop your creative abilities.

Participants will workshop to produce a portfolio by the course’s end, as well as engage in discussions on a weekly topic such as characterisation, dialogue, drama, etc., which are designed to strengthen the quality of their writing.

About the Tutor: Jane Madden
Jane Madden is a writer from Dublin who holds an MFA in Playwriting from the Lir Academy, Trinity College Dublin. Her playwriting credits include Birdy (Peacock Theatre as part of Dublin Fringe Festival 2017) and The Windstealers (Smock Alley Theatre as part of Tiger Dublin Fringe 215) Jane has an extensive background in literary management, is a creative writing tutor at CTYI and Fighting Words, and previously wrote for Fair City.
